- RECERTIFICATION PART 3:
- APPLY FOR REGISTRATION TO USSF
IF YOU HAVE ALREADY QUALIFIED FOR UPGRADE IN 2009, PLEASE CONTACT THE SRA BEFORE REGISTERING ONLINE VIA MAIL OR PHONE. THIS INCLUDES THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE CURRENTLY GRADE 9 REFEREES WHO HAVE QUALIFIED FOR UPGRADE BECAUSE YOU TOOK THE FULL 16 HOUR ENTRY LEVEL CLASS AND YOU WILL BE 14 BY MAY 1, 2009. Everyone else: using the link below, log on to www.ussoccer.info and enter an "R" followed by your USSF ID number. If you don't know your number, let Tom Barker know and he will look it up for you. Your login password will be your last name. REMEMBER: If you change your password or login, you should keep a record of that change in a safe place.
Once you have logged on you will need to do several things:
- Under the "Home" tab, change your password
- Under the "Home" tab, check your personal information to be certain it is correct (we still do NOT need or want your Social Security number!)
- Click on the "Referee" tab near the top of the page
- Click the "Registration" button in the sidebar
- Fill out the registration form. You will note that you can click all of your badges at the same time (i.e. only one application for all of your badges). IF YOU ARE A GRADE 9 REFEREE BE CERTAIN THE GRADE LEVEL IS CORRECT.
- TAKE NOTE OF THE VERY SMALL LINK UNDER THE BIOGRAPHICAL DATA "ENTER AFFILIATED GAME COUNT by clicking here." Click that link and enter your game counts in the popup window.
- Click submit.
- At this point you will need a Visa, Mastercard or Diners Club card to pay the USSF and state share of your registration.
- Once you have been transferred to the Verisign portion of the site, give the requested information for payment and click submit.
- Print out either the receipt/confirmation page or a copy of the confirming email which USSF will send to you and bring a copy to the recert clinic. You will still need to write a check to "EGSR" for the balance of what you owe (Local and NYSW Risk Management fees).
At that point your application is submitted, met all requirements for your grade level, and the SRA has approved your registration, you are registered.
